The Abriendo Camino Foundation, faithful to its commitment to the environment, has set in motion, in agreement with the Environmental Sanitation Foundation of La Zurza (FUNDAZURZA), the selective collection of its garbage.

Once a week, the FUNDAZURZA truck goes to collect papers and plastics, which are classified each day thanks to the work of a group of 20 students from the Foundation’s school leveling program.

In the first week almost 100 pounds of papers were delivered and this week they were 130 pounds, as well as plastics.

Angie Neslin, a Princeton in Latin America Program volunteer, is in charge of this pilot project.
